Senior AP Accountant

For an international organization for its SSC Centre because of new project being launched we are currently looking for candidates for the position of:

Senior AP Accountant

Workplace: Poznan

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day operational activity of Accounts Payable.
Responsible for the performance and growth of the Specialist.
Works closely with other supervisors and managers in the company on a daily basis to ensure that company’s goals are met
Ensuring invoices are entered daily, time and expenses are staged and posted weekly, vouchers are posted, subcontractor load is completed each week.
Responsible for weekly check run, and reporting actual cash against forecasted cash requirements.
Monitor processes each monitor for successful completion of AP processes.
Responsible for processing of weekly check run for all Business Units and bank file transmissions.
Responsible for reconciliation of subsidiary ledger to General Ledger and cash disbursements to general ledger.
Responsible for completing credit applications.
Compiles and analyzes metrics on a monthly basis.
Monitors expense report image now queue daily for timely resolution of exceptions.
Runs exception reporting for missing invoices images.
Responsible for monthly AP Closing calendar.
Prepares monthly subcontractor accrual.
Prepares weekly cash forecast.
Maintaining monthly recurring approval log for each of processing invoices on a quarterly basis and redistributing for approvals or changes as needed.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience with PeopleSoft – nice to have
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
3-4 years of Accounting experience.
Experience as team leader or team leader backup
