Validation Lead, Testers & Hardware Technician

For our Client - a global IT company, we are currently looking for professionals for the following positions:

- Validation lead,
- VM Ware driver testing
- UEFI/BIOS tester,
- Management application tester
- Hardware technician

Validation Lead
- Minimum 7 yrs experience in test execution, test case development,.
- Strong storage domain knowledge and expertise in creating test case development and execution in storage domain.
- Ability to handle a team and should have minimum 2 yrs experience in leadership role.
- Expertise in storage protocols including SAN, NAS, DAS, PCIe-SSD, SSD, SAS, SATA, AHCI, RAID, NVMe, Iscsi, fCoe, FC.
- Expertise in development of test cases and test plans for windows, Linux, vmware drivers related to PCIe-SSD.
- Hands on experience in PCIe-SSD driver testing including storport windows, Linux block driver testing.
- Hands on experience in windows, Linux driver
- Expertise in IOMeter, IOZone, fio, Diskverifier, diskstress.
- Exposure to certification tests in Windows (WHQL).
- Expertise in test automation (scripting and execution of automation test cases).
- Extensive experience in usage of defect management tools including JIRA, Bugzilla, test director, mercury quality center.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams.

VM Ware driver testing
- Minimum 4 yrs experience in test execution, test case and test plan development.
- Ability to isolate issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Extensive experience in VMWare storage driver testing including native drivers.
- Expertise in perl, powershell scripting.
- Expertise in VMWare IOVP certifications preferably for PCIe-SSDs.
- Expertise in storage protocols including PCIe-SSD, SAS, SATA, RAID.
- Usage of hardware tools including analyzers (lecroy, XGIG)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams.
- Exposure to compatibility and ISV storage testing.


UEFI/BIOS testing
- Minimum 4 yrs experience in test execution, test case and test plan development.
- Ability to isolate issues and perform root cause analysis including low level debugging.
- Extensive experience in UEFI and option ROM BIOS testing for storage controllers.
- Knowledge of UEFI and option ROM BIOS architecture.
- Expertise in shell, perl scripting.
- Expertise in storage protocols including PCIe-SSD, SAS, SATA, RAID
- Usage of hardware tools including analyzers (Lecroy, XGIG), SW tools including DOS utilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams.

Management application tester
- Minimum 4 yrs experience in test execution, test case and test plan development.
- Ability to isolate issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Extensive experience in testing management applications for storage controllers under windows, Linux and vmware.
- Expertise in SSD, PCIe-SSD, SAS, SATA, RAID.
- Good understanding of OS concepts and application/driver interface including system calls, IOCTLS, sysfs, proc interface.
- Expertise in shell, perl scripting.
- Usage of hardware tools including analyzers (Lecroy, XGIG).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams.


Hardware technician
- Minimum 4 yrs experience in lab maintenance, system administration and test case execution
- Expertise in administering, configuring and managing standalone, rack based servers
- Expertise in Linux, windows and vmware OS
- Expertise in isolating storage, network related HW issues.
- Server management including configuring, patch updation, installation, backup, recovery.
- Exposure to server management tools including BMC, IPMI.
- Exposure to different storage protocols including SSD, SAS, SATA, RAID
