Our Client is one of the major players within the oil and gas industry. At present, for a one year contract located in Szczecin we are looking for qualified Polish nationals to take up the position of:

Mechanical Supervisor Plant

Location: Szczecin, Poland

Mission
Organises and controls the correct performance of the construction and assembly work, assisting the Mechanical Superintendent in the management for correct performance of the mechanical works ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures.

Tasks
Carries out the work in the planned times and costs
Applies the final, procedures approved by the client
Ensures observance of the project specifications
Ensures that safety and quality standards are respected
Prepares and co-ordinates the detailed programmes for the correct management of the works of one’s specific responsibility
Supports the Superintendent in solving technical and management problems encountered in the area of responsibility
Manages the technical and administrative documentation of expendable and assembly material
Manages direct and sub-contracted work
Manages human and technical resources, indicating any needs and surplus in good time
Ensures that production quality and quantity standards are observed
Ensures that safety standards are observed and guarantee the quality of the work
Assists with the hand-over of completed Works
Measures the works carried out with the Works Director and sub-contractors’ representatives
Supplies the elements needed to draw up the accounts
Assists with the demob of the site (shipment of material and equipment, solution of any outstanding questions).

Desired Candidate Profile
Degree in mechanical engineering
Mandatory experience in on shore piping/equipment installation/erection
Background and worked with standard codes API650 & 620 and ASME
Polish nationality, mother tongue Polish
Good communication in English
Availability as soon as possible to work in Poland
